How to take Asacol?

Do not break, chew or crush them. Doing so can keep the medicament from being released properly into the colon. Asacol should be accompanied by a full glass of water. As this medication do not irritate a stomach, you may take it on a full or on an empty stomach. Do not adjust this dose unless your health care professional specifically instructs you to do so.
