What is/are Oxytrol:
Oxytrol is used to treat overactive bladder. This medication impairs the number of bathroom visits. It can also control wetting incidents. This medicament may be used to gain other implications; consult your health care provider or apothecary whenever you need further clarification.

What should I report to my doctors before I take Oxytrol?
Health care providers need to be aware if you have any of these conditions:

• pregnant or trying to get pregnant
• liver disease
• kidney disease
• an unusual or allergic reaction to Oxytrol, other foods, medicines, preservatives or dyes
• difficulty passing urine
• dementia
• intestinal obstruction
• breast
• feeding
• glaucoma.

How to use this medicine:
Oxytrol is taken by mouth with a glass of water. Abide by the directions on the prescription label. This medicine can be taken with or without food. Take the doses at regular intervals. Do not take your drug more often than directed. Consult your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. Yoy may need to be given special instructions.

Overdosage: If you suppose you have taken too much of this medication contact an emergency room or a poison control center at once.

Attention: This medicine is only for you. Don't share this drug with anyone.

If you miss a dose: If you forget about the dose, do your best to take it as soon as you have the opportunity. If the time for the next dose has come, take only one dose. Never take double or extra doses.

• clarithromycin
• certain medicines for bladder problems like oxybutynin
• erythromycin
• certain medicines for Parkinson's disease like trihexyphenidyl
• certain medicines for travel sickness like scopolamine
• ipratropium
• atropine
• medicines for fungal infections, like itraconazole, fluconazole, ketoconazole or voriconazole
• certain medicines for stomach problems like hyoscyamine
• antihistamines for allergy, cough and cold This list may not describe all existing interactions.

Which side effects may I observe from Oxytrol?
Side effects that you should apprise your medic as as possible:

• confusion
• hallucinations
• memory loss
• breathing problems
• palpitations
• fever
• allergic reactions like swelling of the tongue, face or lips, itching or hives, skin rash
• agitation
• unusually weak or tired -pain or difficulty passing urine -flushing (reddening of the skin)
  

• constipation
• headache
• sexual difficulties (impotence)
  

What should I watch for duringusing this medicament?

• You may need to limit your intake alcohol, caffeinated sodas, tea and coffee. These drinks may worsen your symptoms. Don't use machinery, drive or do any activity that reuires mental alertness until you know the way this medicament affects you. Avoid standing or sitting up quickly, especially if you are an older patient. This decreases the dizzy or fainting spells risk. Alcohol may influence the effect of this medicine. Do not take alcoholic drinks.
• Avoid excessive heat. This medication can cause you to sweat less. Your body temperature could increase to dangerous levels, which may cause heat stroke.
• This medication may cause blurred vision and dry eyes. You may feel some discomfort if you wear contact lenses. Lubricating drops may help. Visit your eye doctor if the problem does not go away or worsens.
• The therapeutics may take weeks to notice the full benefit from this drug.
• Your mouth may get dry. Sucking hard candy or chewing sugarless gum, and drinking plenty of water may help. Contact your doctor if the problem does not go away or is severe.
• You may get dizzy or drowsy.

Where should I keep this medicine?
Keep out of the reach of children. Store at room temperature about 15 - 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F). Dispose of any remaining medication after the expiration date.
