- monoamine oxidase inhibitors (Azilect, Eldepryl, Emsam, Marplan, Nardil, Parnate, Zelapar™)
- certain drugs for the treatment of HIV infection or AIDS
- erythromycin
- grapefruit juice
- rifabutin
- some drugs for treating depression, anxiety or other mood problems (examples: fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, nefazodone)
- verapamil
- rifampin
Do not take Viagra if you take:
nitroglycerin-type drugs for the heart or chest pain such as nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, amyl nitrite, even if they are taken occasionally only.
Tell your doctor about all other medicines you are taking. Also tell if you use drinks with caffeine or if you smoke.
