Tadapox (Tadalafil and Dapoxetine) Tablets

Tadapox is a fixed-dose tablet that combines two active ingredients in a single tablet: 20 mg of tadalafil, a PDE5 inhibitor, and 60 mg of dapoxetine, a short-acting SSRI. We offer it as an oral tablet, and it is the only strength combination we carry for this product.

What Tadapox Is and Who It's For

Tadalafil relaxes smooth muscle in penile blood vessels, improving blood flow to support an erection when a man is sexually stimulated. Dapoxetine acts on serotonin reuptake to help delay ejaculation. Together, the two ingredients are intended to address erectile difficulty alongside premature ejaculation in adult men. Tadapox is not intended for women at any life stage and has no role in pediatric use.

Essential Facts

Tadalafil's effect on erectile function can begin within about 30 to 45 minutes and, unlike shorter-acting PDE5 inhibitors, can last up to 36 hours. Established dapoxetine labeling generally describes taking dapoxetine 1 to 3 hours before anticipated sexual activity, no more than once in 24 hours, and with or without food; tadalafil may also be taken with or without food. These ingredient-level directions should not be treated as instructions to use fixed-dose Tadapox. Dapoxetine is not authorized for human medicinal use in the United States, and established dapoxetine labeling advises against using it with PDE5 inhibitors such as tadalafil because of reduced orthostatic tolerance and the risk of hypotension or fainting.

Important Safety Notes

• Combination caution: established dapoxetine labeling advises against combining dapoxetine with PDE5 inhibitors such as tadalafil because the combination can further lower blood pressure, increase the chance of fainting, and reduce tolerance to standing up. Because this warning applies to the fixed-dose combination, adults should generally not use Tadapox.
• Not for women or minors: Tadapox is intended only for adult men and must not be used by women, including during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or by anyone under 18.
• Nitrates and alpha-blockers: tadalafil must not be combined with nitrate medicines. Caution is also required with alpha-blockers because of the risk of a significant drop in blood pressure.
• Serotonergic and interacting medicines: dapoxetine must not be used with MAO inhibitors, thioridazine, or other serotonergic medicines where labeling prohibits the combination. Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors can also raise dapoxetine exposure.
• Driving and alertness: dapoxetine can cause dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, or fainting. Patients should not drive or operate machinery if these effects occur.
• Storage: keep tablets at 68°F to 77°F in the original package, away from light and moisture.
